Healthy chocolate chip banana bread Overnight oats!!

Hello lovelies welcome back to my page, we are qui a busy family and if you’re anything like us the morning school routine will be totally chaos trying to get everyone ready for the day. Well here I have the perfect solution to the busy breakfast routine these overnight oats don’t just taste delicious they are so easy to make and can even be made a few days in advance which is fantastic.

Who doesn’t love a little chocolate and banana combo?! My daughters won’t eat anything else and I’m so pleased they’re having a nutritional hearty breakfast!

Now to the good stuff….


65 g (⅔ cup) rolled oats

160 mL (⅔ cup) milk, of your choice

120 g (½ cup) vanilla greek yogurt

1 ½ teaspoon cocoa powder

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon chia seed, optional

1 banana, sliced

mini chocolate chips

banana, sliced, to serve

honey, to serve


  • In a mason jar or container add the oats, milk, yogurt, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, chia seeds, banana and stir well.
  • Seal and place in the refrigerator overnight up to five days.
  • Top with additional banana slices, chocolate chips and honey if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!

This is my eldest daughters favourite breakfast I make batches of these oats and she takes one each morning to walk to school with. They really are so easy to make and believe me they’re absolutely delicious. It’s definitely a great way to start the day and give you plenty of energy throughout the day ahead.

    1. Oh they are I’m lucky if I get one I have to make extra for my girls lol 😆 they’re likely to eat their own then fight over mine but I’m happy they’re eating good food xo
