10 Daily habits of successful bloggers to try yourself!!!

Hello lovlies, welcome back to my page. I really hope you are all having an amazing day wherever you are in the world. I have been reading bloggers posts and watching successful bloggers on YouTube for a very long time and in doing so I’ve picked up on a few daily habits I see that each blogger does that I think makes them successful or at least helps them in their success so I thought I’d share with you today my ten daily habits successful bloggers do each day!!

Daily habits…

  • Make your bed first thing in the morning.

I try to  practice daily. I honestly can’t tell you just how much of a difference simply making your bed makes to your productivity throughout the day. The active process of getting up and making your bed in the morning acts as a divider between night and day in your brain. Once you’ve made your bed, your mind and body knows it’s time to get up and start the day time to get everything done.

  • Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning.

The benefits of drinking water in the morning can actually change depending on whether it’s hot or cold, cold water boosts your metabolism whereas hot water eliminates toxins from your body. Drinking a glass of water in the morning sets you up getting you hydrated from the beginning of the day.

  • Write a daily to-do list.

Set yourself a list of tasks to complete throughout the day it gives you a goal and It gives you something to work towards and a reason to not to just lay around or be lazy watching YouTube videos or reading magazines. Remember to stick to achievable to-do lists, your most important tasks are at the top. This way you can move over the less important tasks that may not have been completed until the next day.

  • Keep on top of your deadlines.

Meeting deadlines I truly believe that is key to being successful. Continuing to meet deadlines means continuing to complete work, that means success. Meeting your daily/weekly deadlines is a form of success in itself.

  • Tidy each room as you go.

‘Tidy space, tidy mind’; you know the saying. It’s honestly so true. Plus, if you put things back in their allocated spaces as you go rather than leaving them around, you won’t have to spend as long tidying your house or office all day long.

  • Read something every single day.

Reading books was often something drilled into us as children all throughout school and, honestly I used to and still do enjoy it. Reading books has so many benefits from increasing your vocabulary to being a form of relaxation and anxiety relief even if it’s just a few chapters before bed I always try to read a book.

  • Wake up early.

That means going to bed on time and avoiding the late night Netflix binge-watching sessions come on we’re all guilty of it well I know I am (stranger things was just too good haha). An early start means more hours during the day for you to carry out the tasks on your to-do list without feeling tired and groggy. Near the end of the day after dinner time most of us will put off working we just want to sit on the sofa with a cuppa and cosy pjs watching our favourite tv shows, so waking up early is the best way to make up for that!

  • Eat often and regularly.

Eating often and regularly throughout the day helps give your body the fuel it needs to keep up with our busy schedule, even if it’s just a few smaller meals if you need to work you must maintain a regular food intake to be able to function properly. Otherwise you’re going to get half way through your day and run out of energy and give up on your list.

  • Keep yourself hydrated.

Drinking water throughout the day helps your brain function properly you won’t feel so groggy and Drinking fluids is crucial to staying healthy and maintaining the function of every system in your body, including your heart, brain, and muscles. Fluids carry nutrients to your cells, flush bacteria from your bladder, it gives your body the fluid lbs it needs to keep up with your schedule.

  • Me time.

Always take some time out of the day for yourself. Whether it be just sitting down with a cuppa and a magazine for ten minutes or running a nice hot bubbly bath at the end of the day with candles and aromatherapy oils and a face mask. Always make sure you give yourself that little bit of pampering and relaxation after all your working damn hard to be successful you deserve it!

Do you use to-do lists? What’s something you do every day as a routine?

  1. I’m exactly the same way having a to-do list can sometimes stress me out. I also am trying to be more mindful living with anxiety I need to remind myself daily just to stop and take some me time whether it be yoga, meditation or even just a relaxing bath but I’ve noticed how much it helps. Thank you so much for reading my post xo

  2. I used to keep to-do lists but I’d ended up very anxious if I didn’t finish them. I have a habit of over planning my day and then feeling exhausted by all the stuff I’ve told myself to do. I’m trying to be kinder to myself and fit more chill time in. I’m also trying to do more yoga and mindfulness as that will over time help my mind to stay calm and do more.
I think tidying as you go is important, the best thing to do is to stay on top of house chores by doing a few little chores often rather than a clean a week. With my random work hours I don’t have a set day to clean and it can be annoying because I often forget to do things and my boyfriend does not worry about tidiness like I do. I’ve been waking up too early lately because it’s so bright, I’ve never been one to stay in bed late I like to be up and doing things… which maybe my problem not relaxing enough. I’ll get there.
    Great post idea.
